Over the past year, we have been working on a solution to make the web a simpler place with much more user engagement. In our pursuit to do the same, Whatfix was created. We are a solution that would help any web entity to enhance their usability, improve user on-boarding and manage a self-explanatory help and support system.
Whatfix was born out of our earlier product SearchEnabler, where we realized that companies spend a lot of time and effort on kick starting operations when on a new platform. We realized the pain point was being able to guide the users on how to use the new platform/service. To ease this procedure we started building a solution that gave rise to the concept of Flows.
Flows (also known as Whatfix guides) is our patent pending concept that allows any user to create interactive web guides using our browser extension*. It provides a step by step guidance directly inside any website and can be triggered according to the users need via user touch points like blogs, applications, forums, mail etc. These flows can be created in multiple formats like slideshow, articles, and videos. This helps websites with onboarding and for introducing or training its users about a specific feature.
Here’s how you can use Flows to guide users to Undo a sent email in Gmail.
You can also try out our ‘See Live‘ feature which will help you Do-it-Yourself live. Check it out:
As our offerings grew, we got a lot of support from our clients across the world. Whatfix is associated with multinational enterprises such as The Procter & Gamble Company -Holland (P&G), Indian E-commerce giants like Flipkart, D’Angers University from France, Canadian cloud-based business enterprise Versature, American Health as a service platform provider Maxwell Health, etc. Their feedback and inputs have helped us shape the product and we are eternally grateful to them.
Last year, Whatfix bested 11 other startups from Asia to claim the US $ 300,000 as the winner of startup demo competition DreamPlus Day 2014 held at Seoul, organized by Hanwha Group. This was a shot in the arm that propelled our plans for growth. Now, we are a growing team of highly motivated and talented people with a vow to make the web a much more pleasant experience.
We are going to release many more exciting new features in the months to come. To stay connected, sign-up for our newsletter.
We look forward to your continued support and love.
